Prerequisites

To be eligible for the A-CSPO certification you need to hold an active CSPO certificate from the Scrum Alliance.

And you should have 1 year work experience as a Scrum Product Owner so that you have enough experience of the course contents.

No problem—you can still join. Your certification will be issued once you reach the required experience.

Yes. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the Certified Advanced Scrum Master accreditation from Scrum Alliance.

CSM certification holders have access to a range of career development resources and services, both through the Scrum Alliance and through CSM alumni networks. Here are some of the resources and services that are available:

  • Better Change CSM alumni network: The Better Change CSM alumni network is a community of CSMs who have trained with Better Change and have earned their CSM certification. The network provides access to resources, and networking opportunities. Members can connect with other CSMs, share their experiences, and learn from each other. The network also offers continuing education opportunities, such as webinars and workshops, to help CSMs stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Scrum Alliance: CSMs can join the Scrum Alliance Community, which provides access to a network of Scrum professionals from around the world. This community includes forums, webinars, conferences, and other events where CSMs can connect with others and learn from their experiences.

Overall, these resources and services can help CSM certification holders advance their careers, expand their networks, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

At this time, there is no test required to earn a A-CSM® certification. Successfully attending the two-day, in-person, or live-online course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®) will result in certification.

After completing the course, you will receive a welcome email from Scrum Alliance® prompting you to accept the license agreement for your A-CSM certification. After accepting the agreement, you will be able to download and print copies of your certification.
